Held annually in the party capital of Ibiza, the International Music Summit is a three-day educational, inspirational and motivational thought platform that has been responsible for several industry leading initiatives and a wealth of positive change.
Fronted up by skilled experts, experience music business minds and established names, this year’s edition of IMS Ibiza brings you a remarkable programme of inspirational talks, technology master classes and networking opportunities.
Having already revealed the identities of their first 10 key speakers for the 10th anniversary, IMS Ibiza has now unveiled a further 10 women and 10 men to join this list as speakers for the big event.
The previous list of announced speakers included the likes of Bernard Sumner of New Order, Dixon, Masters At Work’s ‘Little Louie’ Vega and Kenny ‘Dope’ Gonzalez, The Black Madonna, The Martinez Brothers and Elrow’s The Arnou Family.
Further talks will be held by Facebook’s Director of Media Partnerships, Patrick Walker, Spotify’s Global Head of Dance/Electronic Austin Kramer, Resident Advisor founders Nick Sabine and Paul Clement as well as Media Records owner, Gianfranco Bortolotti.
Unifying such qualities as insight, inspiration and excellence, IMS Ibiza will invite 10 of electronic music’s strongest female voices. These will include She Said So’s Andreea Magdalina, Deezer UK’s Sulinna Ong, BBC Radio 1’s B.Traits and leading female DJ and Producer, Miss Kittin.
Also present will be the likes of LWE’S Alice Favre, Rachel Turner from Achieve Unlimited, live coding pioneer Alexandra Cardenas, Founder of De Light Management, Lindi Delight, BBC Radio 1’s Monki and sensational selector, Louisaahhh.
In addition to these names, there will also be ten of the industry’s leading male voices providing their viewpoints. These will include Spinnin’ Records founder Eelko Van Kooten, Positiva / Virgin Records very own Jason Ellis, Pulse Global’s Wade Cawood and the always impressive Art Department.
Further names will see the likes of Knee Deep In Sound chief Hot Since 82, Andrea Allen of Native Instruments, Kobalt’s David Emery, RPM Presents CEO, Eddie Dean, the creative force behind Time Warp Festival Steffen Charles and Circoloco favourite, Seth Troxler, will also be on hand with influential discussions.
With such a list of extraordinary individuals scheduled for such inspired discussions, this will undoubtedly be the biggest IMS Ibiza yet.
